Have you ever wanted to be in a band? I know I certainly have, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart is one of those bands that makes me think I could totally make it happen. They have whiny vocals, only use about 3 chords and their music is very reminiscent of the jangly pop days of the Smiths and Echo and the Bunnymen. Today's song of the day, "Young Adult Friction", is a charming little pop gem that will surely get you boppin' around a'la that scene in The Breakfast Club. Happy Wednesday!
